Holly and Phil should be SACKED from This Morning for ‘lying’, says Kim Woodburn
KIM Woodburn has launched a blistering attack on This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, claiming she is “terrified of them”.
The 80-year-old How Clean Your House presenter even called for the ITV duo to be sacked for ‘lying’ in a scathing interview with GB News.
Kim’s comments came after the This Morning presenters were accused of skipping the queue to see the late Queen on Friday.
Members of the public were left furious as TV presenters appeared to miss the long queue after some of them waited up to 2pm.
Yet the presenters took note of the backlash and said they would “never jump a queue” – before The Sun exclusively revealed mum-of-three Holly will not be leaving amid the furore.
Yet Kim – who has a frosty relationship with Holly’s co-host Phil after he told her to ‘shut up’ on air – takes the opposite view.
She told the broadcaster: “Their self-serving publicity stunt has come back to bite them in the bum, hasn’t it? I am terrified of them.
“There were a lot of people in that line, people with wheelchairs and canes. And Holly and Phillip think that since they’re on TV, they can ignore the rules.
“They lie and they get caught. They are cocky, self-confident, and highly disliked.
“They have to be fired and the crew will say, ‘Yeepee.’ We’ve had enough of these two idiots. They will not be missed,”
Her comments come after Holly and Phil returned to This Morning on Tuesday and addressed allegations they had jumped the queue to see the Queen on Friday.
The presenting duo said they “understood” the backlash after using media passes to gain access to Westminster Hall after other celebrities queued for hours with members of the public.
Despite a petition calling for them to be fired, some fans backed the couple with one tweet: “Holly and Philip didn’t jump the queue… there are worse things in the world going on right now.”
Another called their explanation that they were there to cover the event for This Morning “totally reasonable”.
Meanwhile, in 2017, Kim was forced to defend her ‘explosive’ interview with Phil on This Morning, where she claimed he was ‘pushing her buttons’.
The Celebrity Big Brother star appeared on the show to discuss her time in the house, but unleashed her acid tongue at Phil after he suggested she had caused scandal on the show and should have been nicer to the rest of her roommates.
Taking to Twitter at the time to defend her behavior, Kim said: “I’m a good person. Everyone I know will tell you that. If someone pushes my buttons. I push back just as hard.
“Thank you for your tweets x.”
Her interview with Holly and Phil then sparked a slew of hilarious memes as her sensational look went viral.
The How Clean Your House star has had a number of scandals during her time in the house, but was not impressed when Phil opened up about her battles with Chloe Ferry, Nicola McLean and Jamie O’Hara.
It all started when Phil said the housemates weren’t rowing before she entered the house, Kim responded by saying: ‘You weren’t there Phil.
“You don’t see me getting ganged up on by them, you say something to one of them and they all talk back!”
When Phil asked how much she was paid, she hit him, saying, “It’s got nothing to do with you. Don’t be cocky!”
Phil then said she would have done better if she had been nicer.
She replied: “I think I’m a nice person, ask any of the team I’ve worked with, I’m very polite!”
But Phil chimed in and said: “I know about the scandal you had on Celebrity Juice!”
She said, “I never look for trouble, if you bring it to me I will crucify you. Why should I be commanded by her. I think it’s very important to have manners, but with these pigs inside, you can’t. I’m sorry, Phil, but you weren’t there!”
