Police are investigating a shocking incident that took place Sunday night in the southwest that resulted in the deaths of a driver and a horse.
Officials from the Serious Accident Investigation Section are investigating the death in Greenbushes, which occurred just before 7pm when a silver Ford sedan traveling south on the South West Highway near Hay Road collided with a horse.
The driver of the carriage and the horse, 54, died instantly.
