Government servant commits suicide in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Another suicide was reported from Bhubaneswar, the Odisha capital, in the early hours of Friday morning.

In this case, a government employee committed suicide in Rental Colony located in Nayapalli area of ​​Bhubaneswar.

The body was seen hanging from the ceiling fan in a closed house.

The deceased has been identified as Krushnachandra Senapathy (44). He is said to be a resident of Abhyamukhi under Balipatna police limits on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

The man served in the police battalion. Depression is said to be the cause of suicide.

The Nayapally police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem to the capital hospital.

Further investigation is underway into the case.

It should be noted that Bhubaneswar has recently seen a sudden spike in suicides. Yesterday, that is, on Thursday, a young man was found hanged on a busy street in the city.

The incident was reported from Block-9 area near Mangala Temple in Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as Manoranjan Das (16).

It is noteworthy that around 10 am the young man went to graze cows and was then spotted by local residents hanging from a berry tree.

The family members of the deceased Manorajan have been charged with murder. They filed a complaint in this regard.

The scientific team has arrived at the site and is conducting further investigations. More details on the case are awaited.
