I’m not sure which of you take relationship advice (friendship or otherwise) from people like Giselle Bryantbut I’m going to need someone to explain that to me.
In the season preview for Real Housewives of the Potomac viewers are given a glimpse of the latest controversies between Giselle and Little Miss Drive-Back, Candias Dillard-Bassett. We see Ashley Darby chat with Robin Dixon about the messages she received from Chris Bassett at 2:40 a.m. asking to meet him at his hotel. In another scene, Gisele adds: “A lot of married men have tried me and I felt like he was trying to see if I was with him. He’s a meanie!” Gizelle then tells Candiace that the interaction made her “100% uncomfortable”.
“We were in a good place when we finished ‘Potomac,’ so I thought, ‘ Giselle revealed in an interview for Page sixadding that the ladies’ subsequent involvement in Season 3 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip “it didn’t end well… And right now today, we’re not in a good place at all.”
In the interview, Giselle claims she never expected her conversation about of Candiace the husband is dreaded to cause any discord. “I thought it wouldn’t affect my friendship with her in any way because it was kind of like a friend of a friend, “He did the most. I did not like it. Here’s what happened. Talk to your husband,” she explained.
“But she tells everybody she wants me dead, or I’m dead to her, or I’m going to die—or something, I don’t know.”
Of course, Giselle has in mind another moment of RHOP review where Candias states that she is “dead to [her]” in discussion with Chris.
“It’s not cute. You should never say that about anyone. I can understand being upset or having your feelings about something, but I would never say that about anyone. So I don’t like that at all,” Giselle hard.
“[They’re] not words you should put out there as a joke or even if you are mad at someone. Like, you shouldn’t say that. I have kids, for God’s sake,” she continues. “I have people who really love me.” Not according to those hot pink walls and massive accents, but let’s not get there.
Giselle claims she was just trying to take care of a friend. She explained: “I just felt like, ‘Look, we just need to let Candias know that this is all going on so she can just wind up her husband.’ No big deal… But then it turned into a whole mountain of bullshit.”
