CNBC’s Sofia Pitt has been testing new Apple phones – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max – over the past few days and recommends those looking to upgrade to choose the iPhone 14 Pro or the flagship iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Even though I’ve used them all, the focus of this review focuses on the Pro Max because it’s the best new iPhone you can get from Apple.
If you are looking for a true upgrade, iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are the way to go. Don’t expect many big changes if you have an iPhone 13 and are planning on getting the basic iPhone 14.
IPhone 14 Pro models have improved battery life and new cameras. They also have brand new features: an always-on display and Dynamic Island, a new interactive viewing area that sits around the selfie camera.
Dynamic Island is the hottest new feature Apple introduced this year. Instead of that empty notch that housed the selfie camera and microphone, there’s a new interactive pill display that has the ability to change shape.

There is also a new always-on display. This allows you to glance at the phone’s lock screen while sitting on the desk and view faint but useful information.
