Futures: Stocks Surge, But Key Signal Missing

Dow Jones futures changed just before opening on Tuesday after the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped more than 550 points on Monday. Netflix’s earnings are released late on Tuesday and Tesla’s earnings expire on Wednesday.


But first, Dow Jones shares Goldman Sachs (GS) e Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) will report early Tuesday.

Stock Exchange Today: Bank Of America, Earnings by Charles Schwab

On Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 1.9% and the S&P 500 by 2.65%. The high-tech Nasdaq composite was up 3.4%. And the small-cap Russell 2000 was up 3.2%.

Among exchange-traded funds, the Nasdaq 100 Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) tracker was up 3.3% and the SPDR S&P 500 (SPY) was up 2.5%.

Bank of America (BAC) e Carlo Schwab (SCHW) announced its quarterly results on Monday morning. Shares of BAC were up 6.1%, while Charles Schwab’s shares sold 2.25%.

VE Giant You are here (TSLA) was up 7%, rebounding from Friday’s big slide. Among the Dow Jones titles, Apple (AAPL) increased by 2.9% e Microsoft (MSFT) was up 3.9% in the current stock market.

Car area (AZO), Cardinal Salute (ACH), Molina Health (SM) e Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX) – as well as Dow Jones shares Chevron (CLC) e Merck (MRK) – are among the best titles to keep an eye on. Keep in mind that the current stock market correction is a time for investors to sit on the sidelines and build checklists of growing stocks.
