Football-Leeds v Arsenal suspended for 38 minutes due to power cut

Leeds: Sunday’s Premier League match between Leeds United and Arsenal was suspended shortly after kick-off due to a power outage at Land Road, with the match resuming after a 38-minute delay .

The power failure caused problems with the referee’s communication systems, rendering him unable to speak to the VAR.

With no solution to the problem after 10 minutes, the referee spoke to both managers and asked the teams to return to the locker room to the blessings of the fans at the stadium.

After the power was restored and the referee confirmed that both the VAR and the goal line technology were working, the game resumed with just over a minute on the clock.
