Earthquake in Pacific Ocean off Central America, no damage reported

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the Pacific Ocean between
Central America and the Galapagos Islands on Sunday morning
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said, but there was no initial data
reports of damage, reports Trend, citing Reuters.

The quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles), according to
of the USGS, and the US Tsunami Warning Center said there was no warning
was issued for a potential tsunami.

A spokesman for the civil protection authorities in Panama said
they received no information about any impact. The authorities in Ecuador,
of which the Galapagos Islands are a part, had none either
immediate reports of earthquake damage.
