‘DWTS’: Gabby Windy and Val couldn’t work harder
For several weeks, The Bachelor star Gabby Windy and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy are tied for first place with two other couples. At this stage of the competition, any of them can actually win. And so Gabi and Val do everything in their power to come out on top.
This week there will be two new episodes of Dancing with the stars. It’s double the fun for the viewers at home, but double the work for the contestants. According to Gabby, she and Val work in the land. Read on to see what he has to say.
Gabby Windey & Val Chmerkovskiy hope they have what it takes to break the tie
Right now, every other couple DWTS works hard and tries to come up with great combinations. However, most viewers are focused on the top of the leaderboard. Will this finally be the week where one of the couples pulls ahead?
“I think there’s been a little bit of pressure all these weeks knowing that we’re sharing the rankings, but I feel like we have a system that works,” Gabby revealed in an interview with Us Weekly. “Which is just to work ourselves to death during the week and see what happens on Monday.”
Val added that they were honored to share the top spot when the other contestants were Charlie D’Amelio and Wayne Brady.
“It’s still early in the race,” Val continued. “There’s still a lot of weeks to go and I don’t think we’ve played our best yet.”
As previously stated, there will be two episodes in the fifth week DWTS. Monday will be “The Most Memorable Night of the Year” while Tuesday will be “Prom Night”.
On Monday, Gabby and Val will dance the foxtrot to “If the World Should Ever Stop” by JP Cooper. On Tuesday, they will tango to “Good Girls Go Bad” by Cobra Starship feat. Leighton Meester. It will be a week to remember!
The couple is really feeling the heat
Dancing with the stars Season 31 is just starting week five. In other words, there is still a lot of time before the race. Gabby and Val have to work hard, but they also have enough time to win over fans. However, Val Chmerkovskiy admits there’s a lot of tension that comes from competing with a member of Bachelor Nation.

“I mean no [there isn’t added pressure] because there are always expectations, but to be honest, yes, there are,” said the Ukrainian dancer Parade. “Caitlin [Bristowe] and Hannah [Brown] won the show fairly recently, which is something we’re going to face eventually. It puts a lot of pressure on us, it potentially puts a lot of pressure on Gabi, but the truth is, I think Gabi has created her own lane on Bachelor Nation, if you will. She does the same here Dancing with the stars.”
Catch Gabby and Val when DWTS starts this week on Monday night at 8:00 PM ET. There will be another episode on Tuesday night at the same time, so don’t miss it! Expect more DWTS News.
