Duchess Meghan has canceled planned appearances following the Queen’s death
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has canceled several planned appearances in New York following the death of Queen Elizabeth.
The 41-year-old royal was due to attend the United Nations General Assembly in Manhattan with husband Prince Harry and make a solo appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” on September 20, but those plans were scrapped as the late monarch’s funeral expected to take place on September 19.
It has also been reported that Meghan will delay the release of the next episode of her Archetypes podcast following the death of her husband’s grandmother.
“Meghan was supposed to come on Fallon,” a source said New York PostPage Six of “I don’t even know what he was going to talk about, but that’s apparently already been cancelled.”
Meghan and Harry, 37, who live in California, were in the UK for some planned events when the Queen died this week and are expected to remain there until the funeral.
