Victoria Beckham was quite impressed to find her husband David Beckham dressed as Mr. Incredible for Halloween and busy in the kitchen taking care of dinner.
Joining other celebrities in their fancy dress efforts, the soccer icon got into the holiday spirit on Monday night by donning the instantly recognizable outfit from Pixar’s 2004 superhero film, The Incredibles.
Dressed in the red muscle suit, complete with black gloves, trainers and an eye mask, the 47-year-old was shown bending down to check on food in the oven in the kitchen by his fashion designer wife.
“Isn’t there anything Mr Incredible can’t do?” Victoria asked in a short video she posted to Instagram as she gleefully shared shots of her husband in the kitchen, all dressed up.
‘I am impressed! Look what I came home to,” she added.
Watching the former England captain take some cheesy pasta out of the oven as she switched bread baking from one oven to another, she joked: “Show us your muscles – and your garlic bread!”
David then hilariously posed for the former Spice Girl as she cracked up.
He had shared a picture of himself carefully slicing onions in his full suit on his Instagram stories earlier, captioning it: “Dinner duties first. @victoriabeckham welcome.’
David was later seen serving dinner as he walked over to the dining room table and introduced one of his dishes, asking: “Chicken pie anyone?”
Catching his wife’s eye as she continued to take pictures, muttering ‘impressive’, he added: ‘Not for you, obviously. How was your fish? How was your wild sea bass?’
David revealed in February that Victoria has eaten the same grilled fish and steamed vegetables meal every day for the past 25 years and only “rarely deviates” – and it seems Halloween wasn’t enough of an occasion!
“The wild sea bass was perfect, Mr. Incredible,” the 48-year-old replied, before bringing the camera up to his hands and holding it there.
Clearly a fan, Victoria gasped, “Oh, look at those muscles!”
Uploading the clip, she captioned it: “Question… Will she wear this to bed?!?”
It’s not the first time she’s lusted after her husband’s biceps, with the real deal getting a shout-out in a photo David posted of him and their 11-year-old daughter Harper in April.
The former singer then later shared a clip of Harper posing by the front door of their house dressed as an angel for a trick-or-treating spot.
David and Victoria are also parents to Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 17.
Brooklyn tied the knot with American actress and heiress Nicola Peltz in April in a lavish ceremony at her parents’ Florida estate.
Her relationship has since reportedly soured, leading to claims of a rift between the newlyweds and the Beckhams.
Nicola was accused of turning down an offer to wear one of Victoria’s designs as a wedding dress, but the actress has slammed the rumors in a new interview, admitting that “no family is perfect”.
“This is not a feud! I keep seeing that word everywhere ‘feud, feud, feud!'” Nicola said.
“I don’t know why they say ‘feud’? I mean, maybe they figured something out? And now they call it a feud? she told the Sunday Times.
