“Cricketers To Fuse Into One”: Kumar Sangakkara Names AB De Villiers And This India Star In Answer To A Unique Question. cricket news

Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara took the names of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers on Tuesday in response to a unique question on Twitter. Meta 11 – which claims to be the largest cricket league in the metaverse – posted a question on the microblogging website, asking which players would choose whether or not to merge three cricketers into one. Answering the question, Sangakkara chose Kohli and de Villiers as two of the three players, keeping the window open for the third.

“You can only choose three cricketers to merge into a # Meta11 cricketer, who would that be?” Sangakkara wrote on Twitter and “@imVkohli and @ ABdeVilliers17 will surely be two of the 3. Leave a free option for the third” was the response of the Sri Lankan legend.

South African legend AB de Villiers took a hiatus from his international career in 2018, but his retirement from all forms of cricket came in November last year.

At the same time, Kohli is still part of the Indian team as a player. His next assignment with the team will be the next three-game T20I series against South Africa.

Enter the series against the Proteas in the third and decisive T20 International against Australia, scoring a brilliant 63 out of 48 balls.

The Indian hitter star was battling for form ahead of the 2022 Asian Cup, but the T20 format of this year’s continental event saw him become the tournament’s second top scorer. The event also saw Kohli run his 71st century international, the first ton he has scored in nearly three years.
