CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurates IBM Client Innovation Center in Bhubaneshwar

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on his birthday inaugurated IBM’s Customer Innovation Center (CIC) at O-Hub of the capital Odisha today.

According to reports, the new center will position Odisha as India’s technology resource hub. The innovation center will have capacity for 500 employees as the company looks to expand its capacity to serve global customers outside India. This will create opportunities for existing employees as well as enable the company to tap potential talent, including graduates from the technical education ecosystem in Odisha.

During the inauguration ceremony, the CM said that “Over the years, the resurgent Odisha has written success stories in many spheres. He is moving forward with renewed confidence towards a new Odisha, embracing new ideas, innovation and entrepreneurship. Odisha is now fast becoming India’s technology resource hub.”

According to reports, the new CIC will use the IBM Garage delivery method, an approach that helps IBM “create”, “co-innovate” and “co-operate” business-transforming and complex technology solutions with its customers and ecosystem partners.

Notably today is the 77th birthday of CM Naveen Patnaik during the inauguration ceremony he also said that “talented students who have completed vocational education from Odisha will get job opportunities”.

After the inauguration of the CIC, the people of Odisha praised its efforts for the development of the state.
