Cigars: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Brundabati Nivas for Habisyali women on the occasion of the holy Kartik Brata here in Odisha today.
Apart from this, the CM also welcomed Habisyali women to visit the nivas and he also announced to provide shawls to every Habisyali woman.
The CM also extended his good wishes to all the women of Habisyali on the onset of the auspicious month of Kartik and prayed to Lord Jagannath for their good health and that of their family members.
According to reports, Education and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Das, Sports and Youth Services Minister Tusarkanti Behera and Language, Literature and Culture Minister Ashwini Patra and Puri MP Pinaki Mishra were present at the event.
According to reports, three women from Habisyali, identified as Urmila Patnaik of Ganjam, Sabitri Bandhani Mayurbhanj and Dalimani Naidu of Puri, expressed their happiness after learning about the Brundabati Niwas inaugurated by the Chief Minister. They also praised the efforts made by CM Naveen Patnaik to facilitate the women of Habisyali and prayed for his good health.
