I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! bosses refused Chris Moyles’ request for an iPad to help him in isolation, according to friend Andy Peters.

The Radio X presenter is among the famous faces in the line-up for this year’s show, alongside the likes of Loose Women’s Charlene White, royal Mike Tindall and Love Island’s Olivia Attwood.

Good Morning Britain’s Peters claims his partner Moyles is currently in quarantine before heading into the jungle

“We’re very, very good friends,” Peters shared on the program Tuesday. “I’m so excited to watch it. Everyone is currently in isolation. ITV put them in isolation in addition to the rules in Australia to make sure they are safe from Covid.

“I think that’s the part he’s going to struggle with, just being alone for 10 days. He asked for an iPad, they said no.

Peters went on to describe his friend as “determined” and “dedicated.”

“He so wants to change the perception that he’s an alpha male,” he added. “He really is the nicest man and I think that will come across.”

Before making her camp debut, Moyles revealed everything she’s afraid of…which should come in handy when we have to vote on which celebs we want to take part in the trials.

“Some people say that if something scares you, do it, but I’m a firm believer that you shouldn’t be!” he said.

“I’m also a big fan of my own comfort zone. I am petrified of heights and going into camp will be a huge challenge for me.

“Even that rickety rope bridge gets my heart racing. I’ve never jumped out of a plane or boarded a tall building before and I know I have to suck it up.

“In the past, I have always said no to offers to participate. But this year I didn’t give up right away and ended up going on a date.

He continued: “Now I don’t know why I said yes, but I’m a huge fan of the show and I know what I’m letting myself in for! My friends who have done it before told me I would have a great time.
