Chidiya Ghar (Sony SAB) Serial cast, timing, history, real name, Wiki and more: Chidiya Ghar aired on Sony SAB from November 28, 2011 to October 2, 2017. Ashwni Dhir, who works for Garima Productions, was responsible for making the show. Chidiya Ghar means “zoo” in Hindi, hence the title of the show as all the characters in the show are named after animals.

Kesari Narayan, aka Baabuji of Chidiya Ghar, imparts what he calls “Sanskaar”, or educational principles, through this program. Each of episodes 1 through 10 begins with Kesari imparting some wisdom about the language through his Chidiyaghar Pathshala, and then an event occurs that exemplifies the meaning of the language.

History of Chidiya Ghar
The late Ms. Chidiya Kesari Narayan, wife of the outgoing principal Shri Kesari Narayan, was honored with the name of their home in Banaras as Chidiya Ghar. There is Kesari, and his wife, their sons Ghotak and Gomukh and their wives Koyal and Mayuri, their son Kapi and his wife Chuhiya, their grandchildren Gillu, Gaj, Machar, Makhi and their daughter Maina, their brother Mendak Prasad and his wife Naagin / Markatti, son-in-law Totaram and daughter-in-law Billo. They all have names that sound like those of animals and they all share some traits with the animal their names refer to. Kesari gives them lessons that will be useful to them in the long run after they have already faced the challenges associated with those lessons. They gave their settlement the name “Chidiya Ghar” in honor of Kesari Narayan for all she has done for the community. Dimak Chacha, Girgit Mausi, Bhed Vajpayee, Titli, Tommy, Bhed and Girgit’s spouse, and Puppy, Tommy’s best friend.
