Bureaucrat warns against fraudulent messages on internet after getting fake job offer for Rs 9,700

Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan, known for sharing interesting content on Twitter, recently shared a screenshot of a scam message to alert his followers.
In a Twitter post, Kaswan shared that he received a job offer with a salary of Rs 9,700. The post said: “Your CV has been received in our company and the salary is Rs 9,700”. It then ends with a WhatsApp link asking the user to contact the company for more information.
In the caption, Mr. Kaswan jokingly wrote that he “finally received the job offer”. “I don’t know what to do anymore,” he said.

In the following tweet, the IFS agent also shared a warning and said: “Dear friends, nowadays many scam people or agencies keep sending these SMS and email links. Do not react or click on the link. This could lead to data theft, hacking or financial fraud. Stay safe. “
