Arsenal are looking to continue their perfect start to the Premier League season as they travel to face Bournemouth this evening. The Gunners beat Crystal Palace and Leicester in impressive fashion and are firm favorites to keep spirits high and make it three from three.
Gabriel Jesus will be hoping to further increase his goalscoring tally, with Mikel Arteta once again naming an unchanged side as Alexander Zinchenko and Ben White keep Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu out of the squad. Fabio Vieira has been named on the bench and will be hoping to feature for his Arsenal debut.
Newly promoted Bournemouth were beaten by Manchester City last time out, but won their only home game of the season so far, on the opening weekend against Aston Villa. They will be hoping their supporters can help push them to a shock result. Follow all the action with Standard Sport’s LIVE blog as Simon Collings provides expert analysis from the ground.
GOAL! Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal | Martin Odegaard 11′
ODEGAARD THE DOUBLE!
Arsenal are absolutely wild. Saka and White combine on the right wing with the full-back bombing forward on the overlap.
Cuts it back into the box, Jesus controls and goes to shoot. Light strong touch, Odegaard is quickly there and takes it, slotting into the far corner.
8 minutes: Confidence will not be an issue for this Arsenal team.
Zinchenko was so calm at the back as Bournemouth cleared the field, so much ability. And he’s a left back.
Arsenal with a perfect start.

No assist for Jesus but my word what a game he will have. This turn was great. Arsenal are already purring.
GOAL! Bournemouth 0-1 Arsenal | Martin Odegaard 5′
ARSENAL TAKE THE LEAD!
And that is absolutely outrageous coming from Jesus! Takes the ball down superbly, goes through two challenges and plays a sensational reverse pass.
Martinelli clears, his shot saved. It comes out to Odegaard though and it’s a simple finish.
4 min: Bournemouth enjoy playing direct when they get the ball.
The length ball shoots up the pitch, slides in and Moore is there to chase it. Puts Saliba under pressure, but it’s a foul again. The hosts with little intention of playing from the back, it seems.

Arteta appears to have already spotted something he wants to use in Bournemouth’s defense as he pulls Zinchenko aside for a chat and some tactical instruction.
2 minutes: Arsenal with all the ball in the opening minutes, Bournemouth happy to sit back and let Saliba and Gabriel have it.
This time they press, albeit too aggressively, and White wins a cheap free-kick.
We’re underway at Vitality!
Both sides capable of playing some very attractive football should be entertaining watches.
It is time!
