Bhubaneswar: On Wednesday, a youth reportedly committed suicide by jumping onto the railway tracks in the Odisha capital a few minutes ago.
The deceased youth is said to be from Kedarpally slum in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, the youth jumped on the railway track in Bapuji Nagar area and was killed as a result.
After receiving information about the incident, officers of the GRP arrived at the scene and seized the body.
The cause of the youth’s death is yet to be determined, though it appears to be a suicide at first glance, police said.
