Bhubaneshwar: Odisha athlete Sabita Topo won silver medal in 100m hurdles with a time of 14.17 seconds at the 4th Asian Youth Athletics Championships in Kuwait.
Sabita has been selected by Odisha’s Reliance Foundation Athletics HPC. She won gold in the 100m hurdles at the National Youth (U-18) Athletics Championships in Bhopal last month.
The 2022 Asian Youth Athletics Championships takes place from October 13 to 16 in Kuwait. A 35-member Indian contingent competes in the biennial event. This is the fourth edition of the meeting. India is the second most successful nation, after China, at the Asian Youth Athletics Championships.
