Apple’s high-end 27-inch mini-LED display reportedly pushed into early 2023

Rumors have been active with rumors that Apple is planning a high-end 27-inch display model with mini-LEDs. Originally, the summer 2022 and thus October 2022 launches had been launched, but Apple’s presentation may now have been postponed to early 2023.[sunveilingmaynowhavebeenpushedtoearly2023[sunveilingmaynowhavebeenpushedtoearly2023

On Thursday, analyst Ross Young shared via Twitter with his Super Follows that he had “heard that the launch of the Apple MiniLED monitor has been moved to Q1’23”.

Michael Potuck for 9to5Mac:

A high-end 27-inch display from Apple with mini-LED technology could offer a higher refresh rate to accommodate the latest MacBook Pro models reaching up to 120Hz, which the Pro Display XDR or Studio Display does not. .

Last spring, my colleague Filipe got exclusive details from a source close to Apple being working on an external display with a 7K resolution. However, it’s unclear whether it will be the same display Young is talking about that could arrive in the first quarter of 2023.

In particular, in March, when Young discussed Apple’s mini-LED display coming this year, Ming-Chi Kuo disagreed that it may not arrive in 2022 due to “high cost issues”.
