7 feet long snake rescued from Ganjam of Odisha

Berhampur: A 7-foot long python was rescued by the Snake Helpline from Odisha’s Ganjam district on Thursday.

According to reports, the snake helpline rescued a python from Madamohanpur, a suburb of Berhampur, late last night.

Locals who spotted the huge snake contacted Nayak Sahi’s snake helpline in the village.

Snake Helpline member Swadhin Kumar Sahu arrived and skillfully rescued the python.

Because of the heavy rains, the snake has relaxed in the human habitat. The python was rescued and handed over to the forest department.

The python was released in a nearby protected forest, forest officials said.
