3 arrested for exploding firecrackers in a moving car

Gurugram: A horrifying video purportedly showing firecrackers bursting from a moving car in Gurugram has gone viral on social media platforms.

According to the police, the video was shot on the night of Diwali (October 24) and was uploaded on Instagram after which it went viral. In the video, firecrackers can be seen bursting into a moving car from a box kept on its trunk in the upmarket DLF area during Diwali celebrations on Monday.

The police, in connection with the case, started an investigation after the video went viral on social media and arrested three people from Sikenderpur area of ​​Gurugram today. The arrested have been identified as Nakul (26), Jatin (27) and Krishna (22).

“The three have admitted their crime. The video was shot by Krishna, who in his BMW car was following the Hyundai Verna car driven by Jatin. Jatin later posted the video on Instagram. Both the cars and a mobile phone with which the crime was committed were seized from them. The case is under investigation,” said Preet Pal Sangwan, ACP (crime).

A case under various sections of the IPC has been registered at the DLF Phase 3 Police Station.
