2023 Mitsubishi Triton Price and Specs

The Mitsubishi Triton it has lost its petrol engine for 2023 and has a new special edition and some minor specification changes across the range.

The updated range arrives in local showrooms in December.

All GLX models get black side steps, which Mitsubishi says improves accessibility as well as side intrusion protection.

The GLX-R and GLS variants again have Mitsubishi’s SDA1 audio system replacing the basic aftermarket unit that was fitted.

This system includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as two USB outlets and an HDMI port.

The Sport special edition, limited to 400 units, is based on the GLS Deluxe and costs $1,500 more at $56,440 before on-road costs.

It features black leather upholstery with red stitching, as well as unique exterior decals and red accents on the skid plate, side steps and rear bumpers.

All crossover models received price increases, with most being reduced by a $1,500 increase.

The biggest jump is at the starting point of the range, not only due to the price increase, but also due to the discontinuation of the GLX 4×2 single-cab chassis petrol model.

The 2023 range now opens at $30,740 before the road, while the so-called 2022.5 Triton range opens at $24,240 before the road.

As part of this mid-year update, prices were increased across the board, with most models going up $1,000, but some lingering with price hikes as high as $2,450.
