1 died in a car-pedestrian crash in north Austin late Saturday

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An adult is dead after a car struck a pedestrian on Research Boulevard in north Austin, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Research Boulevard and Payton Gin Road, ATCEMS said.

Authorities said the road may remain closed for the investigation. Stick with KXAN for updates.
